Doctor's appointments, registry building, shower planning, lack of sleep and overall baby prep, etc. can seemingly take up so much time and energy from expecting mamas. As our priorities tend to shift to everything baby, we can easily forget that it's okay to prioritize ourselves as well. That's where Oh Baby Boxes comes in! They've created a monthly subscription box specifically for moms-to-be that's filled with over $100 worth of self care products with boxes starting at just $39.99. Not only is  it a deep discount, but they also curate the boxes to fit your specific due date. Added bonus-- they specifically use bath and body products that are cruelty-free, vegan and non-toxic. If you’re interested in seeing what they sent me, keep reading as I dig through my goodies!

Ursa Major | Go Easy Shampoo
One of the many perks of pregnancy is fuller and more lustrous hair. To help keep it cleansed and hydrated, Ursa Major created this vegan and cruelty free shampoo made with natural ingredients. Packed with heavy hitters like coconut, macadamia, bergamot and licorice, it conditions while removing any buildup. The scent is reminiscent of a spa salon treatment for your hair with its warm and relaxing blend of ginger, fir and balsam. I pretty much love anything with ginger! As if all of that wasn’t enough, it’s also free of petrochemicals, sulfates, parabens, silicones, synthetic ingredients, SLS, SLES, glycols and PEGs. Made for all hair types and gentle enough for daily use, this shampoo would be a treat for anyone’s locks.

Manna Kadar Beauty | Champagne Charcoal Body Scrub
This rejuvenating scrub from Manna Kadar Beauty contains charcoal which is known to remove impurities and build up, leaving the skin clean and refreshed. Add to that the gentle exfoliation that claims to refresh dull skin, help prevent stretch marks and boost the elasticity of the skin. I tried it myself and first off...the scent of this scrub is amazing! It truly smells like a scrub that would be used in a luxury spa. I applied as recommended, gently massaging the skin in a circular motion (including the bump) and it felt like an express spa treatment at home. Afterwards my skin was noticeably smoother and felt renewed. I will be using this sparingly to make sure it really lasts a while!

Oh Baby | Totes Preggo Tote Bag
So if you’re like me, you have several reusable grocery and general use tote bags on hand. Can you ever really have too many? I especially love ones that have cute images and phrases. As you can see, this one says “Totes Preggo” for a fun play on words.

Shainna Ali | The Self-Love Workbook
In our hustle and bustle society, sometimes we don’t give ourselves enough time to sit and reflect. This can especially be the case while pregnant. While expecting, our focus tends to shift to everything baby, but it’s important to nurture our inner selves as well. This workbook is filled with writing prompts and exercises that can be done in just a few minutes each day. Going through the book there's a great variety of exercises to help us hone in on aspects of ourselves we may not have really examined before. I love the idea and look forward to incorporating this into my self-care practices!

Oh Baby Boxes | Mama To-Do List  Sticky Notes
While the debate may continue on how real pregnancy brain is, I feel like I have definitely experienced it during my pregnancy. When speaking to more experienced moms, I’ve heard it never fully goes away...it just turns into mom brain! Between that and the never ending list of things moms have to do, you can’t go wrong with some sticky notes for quick reminders. Oh Baby Boxes included this pack of colorful and fun sticky notes decked out in cute quips like “Naptime is my happy hour” and “ #momlife”. These adorable stickies are a great way to leave yourself little to-do list reminders or a motivational message.

Dr. Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask
Adequate sleep can be quite the challenge during pregnancy with frequent bathroom trips, achiness and the growing anticipation of your new addition. Dr. Botanicals created this overnight mask to help us feel a little more rejuvenated in the morning with an extra glow. It’s infused with pomegranate extract for an antioxidant boost plus it’s also vegan, 98% natural and paraben-free! I’m always drawn to consciously made products so I was excited to give this a try. The mask has the consistency of a nighttime face cream but it is light and absorbs effortlessly into the skin within seconds. In the morning I just rinse and my skin felt smoother and more supple--a win in my book! I’ve used it a few times now and love it.

Maskeraide | Spotted Detoxifying Blemish Patches
While expecting mamas are known for that lovely pregnancy glow, sometimes fluctuating hormones can cause the occasional breakout. These patches by Maskeraide claim to soothe and reduce the appearance of unwanted bumps by removing the impurities in the skin. Infused with a power combo of tea tree oil, volcanic ash and salicylic acid, you can’t go wrong. Each spot treatment patch can be worn for up to 12 hours so they’re perfect for leaving on the skin overnight.

Oh Baby Boxes | Birthing Affirmation Cards
Throughout pregnancy and particularly in the third trimester, anxious and fearful thoughts can arise thinking about the baby's big arrival. Oh Baby Boxes thoughtfully created these custom-designed cards to help moms-to-be feel empowered and connected to their baby during both pregnancy and labor. These affirming statements help to ease tension, release negative thoughts and boost confidence. Oh Baby Boxes recommends that they be used whenever you feel worried or to decorate your birthing space. So far I’ve used these in meditations when visualizing my labor and I’ll definitely toss them in my hospital bag! We’re so much more powerful than we realize at times and these cards are a great way to remind us of that.

Oh Baby Boxes has created something so fun and thoughtful for mamas. I appreciate how they designed these boxes to cater to self-care on both an external and internal level. Curating each one to fit the trimester the mom is in is also a really nice touch and just makes it feel that much more personalized. If you’re expecting, I think this is a nice way to treat and pamper yourself (you deserve it!). If not, this also makes a great gift for someone else that’s sure to put a smile on their face!
