Some of the best things about Fall are the cool temperatures, changing leaves, apple picking and pumpkin everything (yes, please!).Well there’s a new favorite of mine that I’m adding to my list of Fall favorites: Sunflowers! I recently visited Fausett Farms in Dawsonville, GA where they have 15+ acres of tall, lush and beautiful sunflowers open to the public. These paths throughout the field allow visitors to really get up close and personal with the sunflowers (and take some fun photos!). Aren’t they gorgeous?? Next to the parking lot there’s a cute shop set up with various goods. You can purchase local raw honey, sunflower oil, t-shirts, fried pies, homemade ice cream, funnel cakes and of course some of their very own sunflowers to take home with you. I couldn't resist these beauties and they made a lovely addition to our dining table! I also picked up some of their wildflower honey that is simply delicious. If you're ever in that area or just feel like escaping the city for a lovely Fall afternoon, I recommend you visit this charming family owned farm. Roam through acres and acres of flowers and soak up the natural beauty!
